Privacy Policy

This policy describes what data BidSwoop collects, why it is collected, and how users can request access, correction, or deletion.

1. Information BidSwoop collects

BidSwoop collects account information such as name, email address, authentication identifiers, subscription state, watchlist settings, alert preferences, and support requests.

Billing information is processed through Stripe. BidSwoop does not store full payment card numbers.

2. How information is used

Data is used to authenticate users, provide subscriptions, deliver alerts, manage billing, operate customer support, maintain service security, and improve the product.

BidSwoop may also retain technical logs needed to troubleshoot failures, prevent abuse, and audit critical admin actions.

3. Service providers

BidSwoop uses third-party providers including Supabase for authentication, Stripe for billing, Alpaca for market data, Vercel for hosting, Postgres for application storage, and Resend for email delivery.

These providers process data only as needed to perform their roles in operating the service.

4. Data retention

BidSwoop retains account and billing-related records as needed to operate subscriptions, respond to disputes, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.

Derived market data and system job records may be deleted or rotated according to operational retention policies.

5. Your choices

You can update account preferences inside the product and manage subscription status through the billing portal.

6. Security

BidSwoop uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
